We decided to take the plane from Chiang Mai to
Koh Samui in order to save time. We had already booked our seats in
advance due too limited seat availability. The plane started from
Chiang Mai at 10.15 am and landed on Koh Samui at 12.15. From there we
had booked a shuttle (Samuishuttle) to pick us up at the
airport and bring us to the pier where the ferry (Seatran Discovery Link) at 13.30
took us to Koh Tao. At 18.00 we took the direct boat to Nangyuan
Island Resort.
This
beatiful island was thogh not what we were looking for. Daily touristic
visits from 10.30 until 16.30 made the place a bit too crowded. Food
and service were also not satisfying. We decied to move on to the
islands on the Andaman Sea.
