From Koh Jam(Jum) we moved upwards to Bangkok. We
had already bought our trains tickets from Surat Thani to
Bangkok in Chiang Mai in advance. This is highly recomendable as seats
are limited and often booked out weeks in advance. From Koh Jam (Jum)
we had to go back to Krabi where we took the bus to Surat Thani (2
hours trip) and had one night stop over.
TIP.
Avoid purchasing transportation tickets from an agency named P.P.
Famely Agency run by non Budhists. Prices are more than double of a
normal agency. Buy tickets prior to arriving to Krabi Peer or outside
the main entrance at a smaller travel agency. A bus trip to Surat Thani
should cost no more than 2o0 Baht.
